Dr. Ashley Colby consistently exhibited exemplary leadership as a fourth-year dental student at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine–Illinois. She distinguished herself as an exceptional mentor to her peers, fostering their professional growth and self-confidence while exemplifying a compassionate, nurturing demeanor.
Dr. Colby served as the CDMI chapter president for Delta Sigma Delta, where she organized and participated in two mission trips to Jamaica. During these initiatives, she delivered essential dental care to underserved populations.
Ashley volunteered for the pediatric component of Heal Elgin, a healthcare initiative in Elgin, Illinois, dedicated to providing dental services to underserved children.
Additionally, Dr. Colby represented CDMI during orientation sessions for incoming Physical Therapy students at Midwestern University, where she delivered a presentation and guided tours of the dental clinic.
